I would take the experience, but that's just me. It's 1-2 high-tier level-ups or 2-3 mid-tier ones. That is, 30-45 HP and 2-4 attack, plus random bonuses. But potions are also a good option, especially if someone gets infected or goes overboard with their demonicity points. The other two options aren't very good – books are only useful for mages (and you're not a mage), and demon blood is a very specific thing, and its benefits aren't worth the risk of death. Even as a poison, it's not a great option.
