The Ural-Siberian Championship for Heroes of Might and Magic 2018.

I propose for this tournament an experimental system I devised long ago for the CIS, back when there were debates about "WT or SoD", but then "WT died".

In general, a quick outline of 5 points:

1. x3dm1 HotA
2. MT-Jebus Cross HotA
3. 6lm SoD
4. Anarchy SoD
5. Bidding for the version. The loser of the bid chooses 1 of the 2 declared templates in the selected version. For example: the 1st player buys "SoD" for 700. The 2nd player chooses whether 6lm or Anarchy will be played.

The templates themselves and their quantity are, of course, given purely as an example. It seems to me that this scheme takes everyone's interests into account to the maximum extent.

Kostya, the idea is certainly interesting, but I think this tournament will feature only HotA, for 2 reasons:
1. There hasn't been a single offline tournament for the HotA version yet.
2. Making a mix would be even worse than choosing one version, since there are many players who play only either SoD or only HotA.
I agree with Alfein that the idea is interesting for an online format and I think it would garner a good quorum.

I just spoke with the database system administrator; there are 2 channels of 100 Mbps fiber optic from Rostelecom.
They will allocate a dedicated backup of 100 Mbps for us alone, with no one else on it via a direct VLAN to the equipment I will install myself.
So, citizens, streams in good quality WILL HAPPEN!
But I immediately warn you: not everyone who feels like it will be streaming; instead, we will set up 2-4 streams on specially allocated powerful PCs and broadcast with commentary, thus ensuring we don't overload the channel and give everyone who wants it the opportunity to watch the maximum number of games in good quality!
