I keep watching how some organizers appoint OD dates and I'm amazed. Sometimes an OD date is appointed simply after talking to one of the players, and sometimes not even after talking to anyone... To appoint an OD date, you need to at least ask both sides who and when they can play, while looking for a compromise. There are clinical cases when one of the players has disappeared, but the organizer still appoints an OD date - this is just outrageous.

Some players have started to abuse OD dates. After disappearing for a week, they appear towards the end of the second week (sometimes on the last day) and ask for an OD date!! As if they couldn't coordinate (forgetting to mention the reason). And what? Maybe it will work?

There are individual cases when opponents communicate with each other, and then one of them asks for an OD date for the time when he knows that the other cannot.
