Daoshi's shrine

I've been following this game since last fall, but now I'm at a loss. I'm torn between which of the two servers to start playing on – the Japanese or the English one. Considering my experience, I can assume that the Japanese server should be better in every way – both in terms of update frequency and in terms of the developer's attitude towards users, but there is no English version there... This, in turn, is the main (and only) advantage of the English version. What to do, what to do...
