GG, thanks for the game! It turned out to be an interesting setup — I had Deesa, a lot of promising boxes, Inferno secondary, and several hidden spots. I didn't have enough money for the Citadel in the computer's Conflux, and my opponent managed to capture a town with Vampires — that turned out to be one of the key mistakes. In the middle of the second month, I chose to head straight for the Treasury for boxes — 50+ Silver, 20+ Psychs, 20+ Cats, 50+ upgraded Demons — seemed promising at the time, but it turned out to be just a pile of gold and a bit of experience. I should have gone for the Griffin Conservatory and blitzed out instead, but who knew. Town Portal was given to me on the first attempt, Dimension Door on the fourth. It was exactly that fact — DD on the fourth try — that ultimately decided the outcome. I built three of them quickly, but ran out of resources for the fourth, so I was stuck for several days. My opponent got Town Portal on the second attempt and also DD on the second. That gave a huge tempo advantage; he devoured all the luck, everything he could reach. In the final confrontation, there wasn't a single chance. Also, the computers — beasts — cut off two of my planned support setups, so only Deesa was left with adequate magic, and Darkstorm with an under-leveled Earth school.
