The respawn came from one Griffin Conservatory and many boxes. Kirr leveled up well, but through air. In the box for 51 crosses there was a full level 5, but two morale boosts on the crosses and I waited two turns for growth :D :D :D

I also leveled Gunnar to 10, but he was fire-aligned as well. At GO there were bears; I broke through them with implosion at 1050, ending up with 7 mana out of 100. In the center, Goshan was already waiting with a teapot, KS, and wings.
