Took 112, then gives up the external dwelling of the elves, but from the scout tower you could see a small empty respawn and one road to the secondary. Nevertheless, I played. On the first week I took the swamp, at home the cavaliers were in the fort, and there was always not enough gold.
On the second week I went through no-road into the treasure zone and with 30 Grand Elves, a couple of Pegasi and one Cavalier (didn't have gold for the rest) I killed the wood cutters for a Pandora's Box with 10k experience. Further in the treasure zone there was nothing piercing, I ran to the secondary through no-road, where Kyrre catches me. I have 30 Grand Elves, 3 Cavaliers, a couple of Pegasi and various small units, the opponent has 9 Dragon Flies, 2 Hydras, 4 Mages, 8 Basilisks and the rest. A shootout follows, I eventually corner myself, but I didn't shoot much. I would have bought back with the Grand Elves, but I couldn't because of the ballista. I tried to run around a bit, but the morale didn't kick in. In the end, I bought back with 7 Grand Elves.
On the third week the opponent went to finish me off, I decided to intercept his Tower, but on the way I found an entrance to the treasure zone and went there. Over a week in the treasure zone I ate up 5 Dragon Fly Hives, shield +12, Sandals, the Potion of Immobility, the Cape of Velocity, a third-level Dragon Utopia with the Helm of Heavenly Enlightenment, the Still Eye of the Dragon and the Book of Water. They took all my towns, but I returned as a scout hero from prison via Dimension Door on 145, Mephala was spending the night in the tavern just in case. Then Kyrre flew into the treasure zone on a Lava (which I scouted long ago, where I killed the wood cutters on the second), I placed Mephala not far from that treasure zone, but I wasn't planning to ambush, I just didn't think I could reach. Kyrre collects a box and the Book of Fire there, clears a box with Hydras. On my turn I cast Vision — there is no mana, stats are way lower than mine, I count moves — I reach. I took the box that the opponent was clearing (gave Pit Fiends) and ambushed him on the last move. It seems he didn't have enough to buy back, and the opponent didn't try to run away, so I kill Kyrre, get the Wings and everything else. Thanks for the game!
On 126 I ambush Mephala with 6 mana, cast Mass Slow. I took Mages with me, figured 13 mana would be enough for Slow and Blind. In battle I didn't even look, I forgot about the Pegasi. Then I could have prevented the elves from closing ranks by sacrificing the Dragon Flies. As a result, instead of losing 1-2 Dragon Flies, I was left with 2 out of 9. I saw the opponent was stalling to buy back, but I purposely didn't destroy the ballista).
On week 3 I bought back and decided to ride to the opponent, as I understood he was tight on gold.
I noticed the opponent within sight range of my Tower (I placed a lookout). I noticed the opponent rushed into the treasure zone, figured the opponent had a couple of Cavaliers and about 20 elves left, and decided there was nothing for him to catch there and didn't go after him, although I gave Kyrre Expert Haste and could have caught up in a couple of days.
I decided to clean up a Dragon Fly Hive in my treasure zone, took the cash at the third secondary and decided to lie in wait at the exit.
But the opponent somehow managed to fatten up in the treasure zone, apparently pulled some meat through a second passage from his last secondary. And ambushed me with good stats and no mana, although I was ahead in meat. Too bad, there really was a chance to win, but I relaxed too early.
Thanks for the game!
