I completed the initial version with a hero in 230 days (and received the Ent). I could have done it faster, maybe in 5-7 weeks, but who knew that only Edward is allowed into the Rune Hall (they should have warned me). So, I had to level him up and rush him there. I should note that in the first mission, as well as in this one, the main hero seemed a bit weak, so I preferred to take another one. Luckily, on the second try, I got Andreas – an engineer – and successfully completed the game with him (I leveled up machines, light to twilight, darkness to fallen, magic, and luck). In my opinion, Edward's special ability is bad: at the end of a battle, I usually leave a small group of enemies and resurrect my fallen units, but with this ability, it's impossible. Overall, it's something to consider. The lack of a portal in the city, as well as a mentor and a library in the left (green) part of the map, was very annoying. In general, I liked the map, despite its somewhat misanthropic nature. It's been a while since I had to fight such powerful enemies. Regarding the changes in the second version, I think it's unfair to leave artifacts with the enemies: such difficult battles should be compensated in some way. If I have the chance, I will definitely replay it with Edward. Thank you to the author for the interesting map.
