The eternal question: which heroes are better, mages or warriors?

Man, it takes a long time to read all the posts...

Fact (doesn't matter if it's already been mentioned) - Warriors are strong on small maps at the beginning of the game. Mages are strong on any map, but only in the middle and at the end of the game. It's very, very difficult to defeat a well-developed mage in the late game - I mean for a warrior. A strong warrior is VERY dependent on the artifacts he has. A mage, on the other hand, is not. So, everyone does what they're good at. I personally voted for mages.
