On the next turn I put Gundula in this town: our stats are identical, however he would never have taken me in the Castle. I had more than enough one-hit kills. He wouldn't have picked me out. Upon receiving the turn, all the opponent needed to do was take 1 step along the road to check my castle and another 1 cell to see Gundula.

Having watched your stream, I would have learned wonderful news for myself: that you forgot all your artifacts on a low-skill move and overnighted in the Castle behind the red color with enough mana for only one oil!
As soon as I saw your army and the taking of the conserve right under my nose, I immediately realized it was time to go for the Dragon Utopia, which I had planned earlier:

And rushing the opp without Town Portal and with 15 mana is just great. I realized this in time and got out.
