Chaos magic. Is it necessary?

Ha! If only! In each city, they give 2 schools of magic. For the Elves, it's Light and Chaos, which is why there's all this talk. Light is needed, that's clear to everyone, but people argue about Chaos. In reality, besides Light, you don't need anything else because you won't have time to cast anything else anyway. Haste, Blessing, Smite, Stone Skin - all of these are cast in 2 turns, and a normal battle shouldn't last longer than that.
+ There's also Teleport, Anti-Magic, Dodge, Remove Curse - you won't have time for lightning spells...
