But the "water expert" will ruin your plans – dispel and that's it, you just wasted your time... :)
He might, he might not. There are countermeasures against that. Besides, he'll dispel all the good buffs from himself. In general, I just don't use buffs very actively. And dispel won't help against explosion magic.
