implementing the disadvantage could lead to a ton of bugs, while a quick battle finish after the extra time expires and no more than 5 (maximum 10) minutes is the simplest and most adequate option.
Actually, I deliberately put a question mark (?) because I don't know which number is more adequate here, I played it safe. After all, there could be some tough fight in a Griffin Conservatory/Dragon Utopia/with ГО where you actually need to think, especially if the tournament was initially announced as a blitz. What needs to be limited is precisely the multi-thousand-round grinding, some parallel testing in another copy of Heroes, or simply deliberate stalling of the game.
