My friend and I are sitting at a table, and he's telling a cool story about how he ended up in this situation. As he tells the story, I see everything through his eyes, feeling like the main character of this tale.
Basically, I really needed to get to the shopping mall urgently. And it closes in an hour! And I have to get there by bus, then by subway. "Ha," I think, "maybe I'll make it."
I didn't make it to my stop on the bus; they said it wouldn't go any further. I get out, look around, and I don't know where I am, or where the subway is. There's half an hour left until the shopping mall closes. Suddenly, a piece of paper flies into my face, and there's something written on it. I pick it up and read: "Now you can fly!" Paper wings grow on me, and I take off. I fly straight there, even though I don't know the way.
I'm flying over a big city, it's getting dark, and there are many lights twinkling below – it's beautiful! And then more pieces of paper fly past me – one on the left with a red smiley face, and one on the right with a blue one. I catch the one on the left and read what's written on it: "You took this piece of paper, so now you won't be able to catch that paper airplane, lol." And sure enough, at that moment, a paper airplane flies past on the right, which I would have liked to catch, but I notice it too late. "Well, damn," I think, "okay, I won't take any more with red smiley faces; they're just here to troll."
After a while, two more of those pieces of paper appear nearby, and this time I catch the one on the right with the blue smiley face. "You're flying twice as fast!" And indeed, my speed has doubled, and a timer has appeared in front of my eyes, like in a game at the top of the screen. There were 15 minutes left. But here's the catch – not only did the flight speed increase, but also the passage of time. Fortunately, it suddenly turned out that there are 100 seconds in a minute, not 60.
Finally, I see a beautiful skyscraper with lighting in front of me – that's where the shopping mall is. I land, walk through the glass doors into a large lobby... There's no one inside, and then the timer runs out. The doors behind me slam shut, and a siren sounds – the police are already aware that there's an intruder in the building! And then I remember that I have a superpower! I turn to the doors, throw my arms forward, as if casting a fireball, and shout, "Telekinesis!" Nothing happens. Apparently, I did something wrong. I look around... All the exits are closed, but there's a door to the restroom, so I think, "Okay, I'll go there."
- That's where they caught you.
- Yes, that's where they caught me. *clinking of glasses*
However, it turned out that I was the police detective! The police organized a great dinner for us by the pool in the same building, and beautiful, smiling girls served the table... My friend and I ate well, drank, and laughed together about this story...
It was a crazy dream, but very fun; I wish I had more like it
