The map was very well designed, with a large and rich resource area. A Necropolis player came early, followed by a Barbarian player who immediately started claiming territory. I found a scroll of map vision, which revealed the path to my opponent's base. I also had shorter and more convenient roads than my opponent. I won due to the better map layout.
