In Discord, you can not only listen but also hear :D, and also see the game, share it for streaming, organize joint chats, conferences, servers, etc. All of this and more is very convenient for communicating with players.
It's very convenient, for example, to do this: if a player is streaming, you can immediately go to the stream page directly from the program and without receiving a notification in your email first (you don't need to be a follower on Twitch or another similar resource). And there are many other convenient features: you can't list them all, and I don't even know many of them yet.
