gg, thanks for playing! My opponent bought a color for 1000, and the starting position was pretty poor in gold. For the entire first week I was running around, collecting gold so I could build Giants in the Citadel. At the start of the second week, I built a University, bought Earth Magic for Anabel, took a level 2 Griffin Conservatory, and rushed at my opponent with 100 Gremlins, 2 Angels, and the entire weekly growth from my main town. In the Treasury Building, I took a box of 20 upgraded Harpies. At this point, a second front breaks through into the swamp zone next to my main town, where I discover two Griffin Conservatories, and on the same turn, my opponent breaks into this zone and captures the town. He has 3 Angels, 2 Giants, and 200 Gremlins. I quickly turn around, buy back my main hero from the external tavern in that zone, manage to eat one Griffin Conservatory, and trap the opponent inside the town while he is restoring his mana. My stats are higher + Expert Offense, + Expert Archery, from the army: 100 Gremlins, 5 Nagas, 12 Harpies, and 16 upgraded Harpies. I have twice as much mana and twice as many spell points, and on top of that, Ballistics reliably gave me the first turn in each round.
