MMH5.5 - Heroes of Might and Magic 5.5

Help me understand the problem! I have the Steam version of Tribes of the East, version 3.1, which is not localized. I found a Russian localization for it on Steam. The problem is that when I play in "single-player" mode, the artifacts from the backpack don't work; they don't add any creatures or resources, or anything at all. And when I wear, for example, 2 out of 3 items from a set, it only shows 1/3 everywhere... Can you provide a guide on how to fix this so that it works in single-player mode? Thank you!
