You could even ask Baratortch to create a temporary technical account for the final stage of the tournament (judging by his position, stated in this thread, he might agree). This could be seen as a test drive for a player who has shown promise (and if they like it, they might buy it).

But why only in the final stage? You could give the host N free accounts right from the start of the tournament, so that players without accounts (especially newcomers) could ask the host for one and play the tournament with "full equipment."

This would also be an advertisement for the software's capabilities and lower the barrier to entry. With regular play, it would be inconvenient to ask for a free account every time, so there would likely be little abuse.
