A free run taken is saved and applies to the next day, if the stage hasn't changed (otherwise, you simply receive 30 rupees). This means that on the next day, you can play one game more than the limit, as the one taken in advance is not counted as played on that day. Previously, this also worked in cases where the stage changed. This is how I managed to play in an old stage a couple of times, even though the next stage was already active.
