I think that in fun tournaments or early stages of tournaments, it's worth playing with the expansion pack, but the later stages of the tournament can be played without it, so you can play each turn better, and saving an hour here isn't a priority, because much more time was spent on the entire tournament. This logic is quite understandable and explainable, so it's not entirely clear what motivates such an ultimatum to refuse to play. :confused:

However, judging by the fact that the person only regularly plays SOD and doesn't have a subscription, there's some kind of personal principled stance here (for example, like one well-known clinical case). I definitely don't approve of this.
