Play as Haven only with AXEL.

This is as important as choosing Sinithar when playing as Dungeon. :)

Regarding griffins. They are undoubtedly strong, but if you take them on a long journey, there will be none left by the time you return. That's why I save them for the final battle.

Of course, monks and paladins are also really helpful.

I'll let you in on a secret: paladins are the main striking force of the Haven race; without paladins, there's nothing to do on the battlefield, even if you have a lot of griffins (just look at Iris on the duel server).
