Angels and paladins – how to use them? There are also discussions about them here.

So, here's my personal tactic for playing as Haven. Levels 1-3 should be used exclusively for claiming territories, i.e., capturing mines, etc. I don't hire Griffins at all. They are expensive and "run out of steam" quickly. I don't build the Inquisitor building (surprisingly), nor do I build the Militia Hall. So, the mines are captured. Next, you need to build a Hippodrome and hire 10 Paladins. With them, you can complete the entire map. :)

But if you prefer to play for development, you can continue this scheme. You save up 120k gold, level up the hero's skills for training, and build the corresponding buildings. You hire Monks (~40) and train them into Knights, and then into Paladins. At the same time, you can hire Griffins, of which you will have accumulated quite a few by that time, or hire Archangels, or train Crossbowmen from Peasants.

If you're playing as Haven against Dungeon, you need to focus on prolonging the battles and leveling up Light magic, and sometimes Dark magic... You definitely need to take Morale, upgrade Griffins as early as possible, and don't buy them in the first two to three weeks (if the map is large or there is time for development). The core of the army is initially Archers (convert Peasants into them... it often saves the day) and Swordsmen, and later - Inquisitors, Crossbowmen, and, if possible, Paladins... I practically never use Archangels, only hire them at the very end... The most important thing in a game against Dungeon as Haven is to have experience with Light magic and be able to cast Resurrection... You need to cast it on Paladins and Archs... I myself have had a bitter experience playing against this tactic as Dungeon... :( They crushed Sinistar, who was almost level 20... :( It is very important to have a Ballista in your army and, sometimes, a Tent... it's expensive, but it helps a little... Priority for leveling up: Light, Attack-Defense, Leadership-Luck, Logistics-Mechanics... It is also desirable to manage to level up Education as Haven... It's tough, by the way... :smile01: Education + Resurrection = doom for all Dungeons... :D :(

They "run out of steam" when there are few of them. I accumulate 90 to 200 of them and crush everyone I want. Of course, Monks and Paladins also really help.
 I use 20 of them for RAIDS! :smile54: BUT they are upgraded... :D
