I really enjoy it when Sword players get carried away with leveling up the Hedgehog after summoning it with Arthur, and trade with my board instead of trying to win. Maybe 10k players don't do this, but every other Sword player, or even two out of three, does it regularly. Just now, a guy was just killing (endless) Lions with his Arthur's level 2 units for two turns, and even traded a 4-2 Arthur for a Lion, even though I had no more evolutions left, no Phemis, my board was half-filled with weak Amuls, and the other half with vanilla Lion bodies. He suicided units for 12 Face-Damage, but got +4 on the Hedgehog! ...which he lost to a new 4 HP Lion in the very next turn. I didn't even have to play Fil, even though I initially planned to use her to delay my loss by one turn. When he started to suspect something and played Knights and went all-in with them, it was already too late - I just dealt 16 flying damage.
In general, Sword is one of the decent matchups for Lions, unless it destroys your face very early, spams you with Arthur-Fortresses, and plays Latam. In all other cases, you just destroy everything he plays, and at some point, he runs out of cards, and you bring out Storms, which is basically the same as with Artifacts. Phemis also helps; I started playing with one, then added a second, and now I've finally added a third - there are just too many Swords. I realized that I haven't bricked with it even once, but I've often waited for a topdeck.
It's good that there's a budget deck that humiliates this nonsense.
