Arandor won
Map: Showdown
Equilibrium version.
The game ended on day 4, week 3, month 3.
Arandor primary hero: Winifred (priest), hired Oissin (knight).
At the end of the game:
Winifred, Paladin, level 20, Grand Master of Life Magic and related skills, and Warfare 3.
Oissin, General, level 20, Grand Master of Tactics and related skills, Warfare, Archery, Nature Magic 1, Magic Resistance 2.
Army: 336 crossbowmen, 128 pikemen, 93 swordsmen, 13 angels, 22 ogre shamans, and two heroes.
Zubr
Menesli, Battle Mage, level 23. Grand Master of Order Magic (and other skills from this school, except Enchantment), Grand Master of Warfare (Archery, basic Magic Resistance), Nobility, Life Magic, Chaos Magic 2, other skills from these schools 1.
Halli, Lord, level 5, Warfare 3 and Nobility 2. Intended to remove blessings from my army.
There was another hero, Paulus, Cardinal, level 10, but I won't write about him because he wasn't in the battle =)).
Army: 535 hobbits, 420 dwarves, 176 mages, 76 djinns, 9 dragon golems, and two heroes.
I won't write about the development and tactics on the map... no need to reveal my secrets))))
The battle was interesting (as was the game itself). It involved both swords and magic)) and took place in the desert)).
I attacked because I had infantry)). The army moves slowly across the sand, and even slower with a slowdown spell. Luckily, the spell only lasts for one turn)). At the beginning, my own Angels killed my mage (not without Zubr's help, who used his hero to remove all blessings, including the resurrection stone)), but the Angels themselves corrected their mistake and resurrected Winifred. When the Angels attacked her a second time, she survived because there was one fewer Angel after the fight with the swordsmen, who managed to crush both enemies and half of their own troops during the battle, in particular the pikemen (they fell quickly, but the dwarves helped), and the ogres (they were resilient, only 4 remained, then they blocked the archers)). In general, the swordsmen reached the enemy (with a slowdown and after almost killing all the pikemen and ogres), the Angels (flew in)), the ogres (but they didn't live long after that), the crossbowmen, and the warrior hero finished them off, while the pikemen were the least lucky; they remained lying in the sand, in the very center of the battlefield)). (although half of the army was resurrected after the battle) haha.
After that, the swordsmen did their job, but against the enemy, the Angels killed the main enemy hero, and the battle was over.
Of the spells, only Sanctuary, Mass Order Blessing, General Blessing, Healing, and Protector were good and useful.
Zubr didn't get everything he wanted either)).
Thank you, Zubr, for an interesting and fun game. :smile20:
The tournament continues!
