This is a very useful tip. I would only add that you shouldn't be afraid of long names. You can even make them more elaborate :) For example:
turnamentWM_1_3_2_001_Gargon_Bat
turnamentWM_1_3_2_002_Gargon_Win
turnamentWM_1_3_2_003_Aleksandretta_Building

It will be easier to sort through the saves later :)

If you want to earn an extra point and don't seek easy solutions, name your saves like this:

P.S. You should save after each hero movement, even if it's just a minimal distance (one cell on the game map).

Then the tournament organizers will have to pick up textbooks on cryptography and information security. It won't hurt them! And most importantly, hide the final save under a code name like "dhkgdfhg jhkhfgdfhgkihdfgdfgdu908983y534!!!" otherwise, it won't work!
