Boomerang. The template is weird and clearly tailored for mages. Lots of resources, few troops, long roads. Finding Town Portal in a shrine on day 131, I quickly controlled the entire map, leaving my opponent without any towns. I cornered Tazar in one of the Dwellings, cast Vision to see he had 13 mana, and without having Resurrection or a decent summon (only basic Water Magic) or high-damage spell (only a 400+ Bolt), I went in head-on. Tazar attacked me himself, and if he had been luckier, he would have easily killed Elshar. 27-25 battle stats vs my 8-8, Tactics, Oil, +3 Morale vs my -2. In short, I was lucky to have paid him off. If he had had Bracers, we could have been running around for a very long time; I doubt I would have surrendered, having 3 more heroes with control and all towns against their lack of them. So, over the next couple of days, I gathered a bit more army, built Resurrection and Dimension Door, and attacked Tazar, who now had 0 mana. Blinds, Oil, Bolts, summons, GG. Thanks for the game!
#1-1
Due to the lack of money, I spent a long time building the Griffin Conservatory and the Dragon Fly Hive - everything turned out to be small. And as soon as Blue appeared in my vision with 6+ Angels, I decided to run from him into the second Dragon. From the tavern, I thought Lizard was building a Mage Guild, but no way, he was dumping resources just like I was. Mistake.
In the third Dragon, my last hope was KZ, but no - I only found a Tea Pot on the ground and a level-3 Dragon Utopia with stats.
Thanks for the game.
Second game.
