Moner was the second hero I took, and by level 6 he had already advanced Earth magic. In the beginning, there was very little creature growth, and among the available external dwellings, there was only one Earth Elemental dwelling. Two roads were blocked by harpy hags; I sacrificed almost all of my fairies and several air elementals to defeat them. With some difficulty, I gathered crypts, and on Day 116 Moner, with resources to spare, broke through 50 harpy hags for a Shield +6 and an external dwelling of Magi. On Day 117, I was supposed to collect the external dwelling of griffins (ideally both, if I had enough growth for the second one). I planned to gather 2 Griffin Conservatories for 5+ Angels on Days 121-122 and then march out. Before that, my opponent conceded; they were unlucky with morale rolls.
