The resources contain hidden artifacts - a collection of 3 artifacts that grant resistance, 3 that grant diplomacy bonuses, and 4 artifacts (Ogre Club, Ogre Shield, Cyclops Tunic, and something else, most likely the Archmage's Crown).
However, no one knows what they do or how to activate them.

Someone told me that you can assemble Armageddon's Blade in one of the versions; it's made from all the Chaos artifacts (Chaos Helmet, Chaos Sword, etc.) - I think that's complete nonsense!
And what you're saying is just as silly... Who told you that nonsense?! There are no such sets; why? - ask the game developers.
