I lingered in the adjacent area, got some experience, and by the end of the second week, I reached the treasure room. I found a tome of summoning there, and everything became much easier, but my opponent didn't have a good run and eventually surrendered.

Jalib does well against machines, clearing everything effectively, but I had to deal with 100 unicorns that went berserk from the curse cast on the mice. I didn't have enough mana for chaotic spells. I almost killed all the mice there, so I decided not to continue, although my generous opponent offered another load. Perhaps I should have tried going to the main town through a different adjacent area, as the monsters there were more pleasant. Thanks, Dmitry!
