Shadowverse

The Grand Prix is over... I defeated two opponents in the final using the same Midsword deck – I dealt with the Portal (the cannon helped a lot) and the Burn Rune quite easily, but I lost in the mirror match. Going second this time had a very negative impact; I had no opportunity to seize the initiative. Overall, based on my recent experiences playing this deck in the event and in ranked, I can say that Midsword is still one of the strongest decks at the moment. The mini-expansion seems to have given some decks a good boost, but nothing has appeared that reliably counters the Midsword. Even the Portal struggles against Midsword with all its tech cards, although I haven't encountered it much (and I usually win), but there were fewer mirror matches, which is strange... Everyone is playing PDG and Vengu, but neither is as reliable as it seems. With the new rotation, they will most likely fall off unless some new, cool cards for them appear.
