2018 FIFA World Cup Prediction Contest

I suggest that the organizer consider a fundamentally different format for the competition.

Each participant manages ONE post. Their own. With all predictions and results.
They write about each match in the following format:

First:

1. Russia - Saudi Arabia. Prediction: 2:0.

After the match ends, they edit the post, adding information to the following:

1. Russia - Saudi Arabia. Prediction: 2:0. Result: 0:3. Points: 0.

And at the end, they calculate their total points for the current moment.

Of course, editing technically opens up the possibility of retroactively changing the prediction to a more favorable one. But:
1) This is just childish.
2) All predictions are visible to everyone. Anyone who wants to take the risk is welcome.
3) We can establish (for this – for falsifying predictions retroactively) unclear, but definitely strict, measures of retribution, up to and including being added to the official Heroes blacklist.
And I think that's where the downsides end.

The advantages, in my opinion, outweigh the disadvantages. The topic won't turn into a billion technical messages, and no one will have to calculate anything for anyone.
In terms of calculating results, both overall and at any specific point in time, everything will be simpler by a couple of orders of magnitude.
