TBM - Tournaments balance mod

Hello. I don't understand how map generation works. Does that mean there aren't any templates used to generate maps?
And also, who can I play this mod with? It would be great to have contact information for players who play this mod, so we can connect. Maybe there's a Discord group or something similar.
