However, to be honest, I'm currently playing through the storylines (as I understand it, this is a condition for getting bonus cards, right?) and just skipping all the dialogues because these universally stupid characters have exceeded my level of annoyance. I don't want to waste any more of my time figuring out the peculiarities of their broken psyche.

I read it because I sometimes like to laugh at the stupidities in the plot. Although there are more often boring stupidities than funny ones. More or less typical for the Media. But I dare say that of all the characters, Urias stands out more positively. Less suffering and more fun-loving goofiness. He is still difficult to call a good character, but he is not as annoying and/or boring as the others.
