I was walking down the boulevard the other day, and a pigeon flew into me. It hit me on the head with its wing and flew away. Today, I go out onto the common balcony of the building, and there's a gray crow sitting on the railing. I look at it, and it looks at me. We looked at each other for a bit, and then it flew away. If I were a pagan, I would have thought that the gods were trying to give me some kind of sign. Like, jump off the balcony, enough is enough.
