Which level 1 monster do you like the most in Heroes of Might and Magic V?

I don't know, but skeletons are the weakest units, no matter what you say. One skeleton can't kill anyone from the first tier, not even a peasant. They can only be effective in large numbers, otherwise they're completely useless. The strongest units from the first tier are assassins and dryads. Mountain Guards are also quite good. They have a lot of health and decent defense.
