Exactly. Both heroes must be leveled up to the maximum. Only Dark Magic needs to be leveled up for Shadia. I wouldn't even level it up for her if she didn't have it from the beginning. The difference between version 1.5 and 1.41 is that there is no opportunity to restore mana between battles with the first two heroes. And my Railag had 260 mana, and Shadia had 160. The first time, Railag used all his mana to defeat the first enemy. In the battle with the second, he ran out of mana, and then Railag was defeated. The second time, he saved mana in the battle with the first, but in the battle with the second, the troops ran out before the mana. Only on the third try did he decide to use both heroes. Shadia, without losses and with minimal mana expenditure, defeated 120 Furies, and then, not sparing mana, defeated the first enemy, and Railag defeated the second. If someone is too lazy to spend time on good leveling of Shadia, I advise you to replay the second mission. I saw advice to level up Shadia's Logistics. Then she will be able to reach the city on the first day and buy troops there. There is something to it. But you will have to take Logistics instead of a combat skill, and I don't really like that. After all, she needs not only to run, but also to fight with an enemy who is superior to her in strength and level. The enemy heroes are level 22.
