It's unlikely that maneuvers will be useful, there are no charisma bonuses, and I already have them. I'll be in charge of some flanking attacks, and you'll handle everything else.
Well, I was actually thinking that one person would be in charge of everything. I'm not sure if the flexibility in terms of perks (i.e., doubled speed) will be worth the strong buffs for the flanking units. Especially if I'm going for an offensive strategy. However, looking to the future (sorry for the pun), I really shouldn't take maneuvers. After all, your character might be able to upgrade oratory in the future.
Besides, both options are good, but you can't predict in advance how we'll fight, with whom, and against whom.
That's why I'm asking. But for now, I'm leaning more towards the first option, as it seems more versatile. The first strike is less useful against archers than double attack.
