I clicked on some of these videos, and the content wasn't to my taste, but that's not the point. I've been wondering about something for a while, and this made me think about it again – what's with this cancer of calendar-based comments? 2016, any given year? 2017? 2018? Year after year, it doesn't stop losing popularity. What's the point? It's almost as bad as the comments like "just English comment passing by" on non-English videos. Stupid, uninspired, meaningless.
Added 4 minutes later What's most interesting is that this garbage in the comments is mainly found on videos with popular music, but listeners of niche music don't engage in this idiocy, no matter how old the composition is. Really makes you think, huh.
