This was done a long time ago. But it only works on HotA maps. On maps from the SoD version, spells from books are not removed. So, there shouldn't be any problems with this, unless you modified the map in the map editor.

Such old versions are not stored anywhere. Maybe they can be found somewhere, but I can't help you with that.
