I won't even quote Ment's lengthy post; I'll just say that there isn't a single team on Earth that has it written down (or somehow declared) that backstabbing and underhanded tactics are permissible. Honesty towards teammates is a given. Therefore, the only need for a code of conduct arises if you want to declare that backstabbing is not only discouraged but also strictly punished – and by strict punishment, I mean not just "caught – punished," but "found out you backstabbed – we'll dig you out from under the ground, even from vampires, even on another continent, we'll find you, quarter you, and impale your head on a spear and place it on the road to our "Happy Healer" farm."
