Our ifrits are completely lore-accurate. In terms of color, they match Urgash, and their arsenal includes Chaos magic.
The presence of ifrits in the seventh game already makes them completely lore-accurate, but the developers again muddied the waters: "Ifrits are doppelgangers of djinns, but at the same time, they are creatures of chaos. However, the connection between them is still unknown." They invented ifrits themselves and were too lazy to explain why they look like djinns!!!! I'd tear their hands off!
Added 10 minutes later Another guess (even simpler): some djinns serve chaos and are called ifrits. The theory is based on the story of Rashk - he absorbed the essence of a djinn (became a djinn), turned to the dark side, and transformed into an ifrit.
