Vik, you are nothing.

Something came to mind :)
Education creates a mask. When you look at people, you believe in their masks. And then the mask falls off, and you see that they are made of the same crap as you are. It doesn't matter who you see – it's a mask. If you look longer, impartially, and attentively, you will discover that he is not always able to wear a mask; and in these moments, the crap peeks out, just like in you. He is nothing, and you are nothing, even if he is a colonel, a senator, or a millionaire. This is just the result of a combination of life circumstances. His grandfather was like this, his father was like that, and he inherited it. However, he himself is nothing.
Only the one who has realized his own nothingness and is working on himself, changing it, is not nothing. This is a person of a different quality: "crap with a hint of rose." He is still crap, but with a different smell.
Work, put everything into work, and be sure – those who do not work are just as much nothing as you are. You are nothing, but so is he. He is a general, a colonel, all this is external: it is worth nothing.
In life, everything is accidental – profession, social status, all obligations; whether you are a mayor or a policeman. Life creates all these abnormalities. Inside, however, everything is the same. The external does not change the internal. Only conscious work can change the internal – conscious effort and deliberate suffering.
