Yes, thank you for reminding me, this is also, in my opinion, a very good idea – it encourages players to play matches sooner, gives a bonus to more motivated players (who don't give up after 2 losses), and reduces the number of technical results, leading to more actual gameplay results, thus increasing the prestige of the title.
