Sacred Haven of Debauchery

My ADSL modem was almost completely dead. It would only turn on after an hour and a half. And to get it to turn on, I had to turn it on, but not turn on the computer, then after half an hour, turn off and on the modem's power, and then after another half hour, turn on the computer. Recently, the speed was almost always even slower than with Dial-up, but sometimes it would work. Last Sunday, it suddenly decided to work at a high speed about an hour and a half after being turned on, and even though it was intermittent, I downloaded a lot through torrent that day. Today, I bought a new ADSL modem. It turned on immediately, and the data transfer speed is no less than with Dial-up, but normal for an ADSL modem with the provider "Rostelecom," and so far, there haven't even been any disconnections! Awesome!
