Opponent handled the respawn much better and had a significantly larger army, plus the speed that I didn't take and more artifacts for stats, but for some reason treated mana recovery carelessly, which decided the outcome, thanks for the game.

There was a tiny treasure zone - roughly 1/5th of the map, we came out late - both on turn 123, but I had the better army.
On turn 126 I gave the army to a hero from a just-cleared prison, who had expert logistics. I was in a great hurry, made an incorrect move, and the army that took the opponent's Dragon Utopia got stuck in a cell from a similar prison on Tofsla's plane.
It wasn't hard to finish me off, the bracers were on the respawn, so 130k gold didn't help). A fairly even battle could have turned in my favor due to better morale, but the rng said no.
PS. I'm still not good at identifying which scrolls are control, which also decided this match.
