She was somewhat familiar with the Eisenbach family; her father had briefly mentioned that they had once been distantly related to the Eisenwein family, but they had long since drifted apart and rarely interacted. Whether this was true or not, it was hard to believe that these people could now be collaborating with dangerous criminals. In any case, she would have preferred that such issues be resolved in a civilized manner, through negotiations, but it was clear that none of the factions were even considering such a thing, striving to destroy as many of their opponents as possible using the harshest methods.
After briefly skimming through the rest of the news, Elrina calmly put the newspaper aside (or passed it on to someone) and looked around.
