Overall, I prefer the top four leaders – Black Dragon, Titan, Archangel, Ancient Horror – each of them can be the best under certain conditions.
The rest of the level 7 creatures, in my opinion, are all inferior to the ones listed above.
I think your preference is justified, but you don't rank Phoenixes at all – in my opinion, they are pretty good guys :) (why? – I don't think it's worth writing about... :))
Personally, I killed about 2000 Archangels and 500 Ancient Horrors with practically no intervention from outside forces, with a small difference in the Attack and Defense stats of the heroes.
Well, that's not a super victory... Ancient Horrors destroy armies that are not only 4 times larger than their own...
On huge maps, where you have to play for about 30-40 months, Ancient Horrors rule.
Can you give an example of even one such "long" map?
