HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

Recently, I learned about the development of the HD and HotA mods and became interested in trying them out. I've been struggling for several hours to install the latest versions of HotA 1.5.3 + HD 5.0 beta 46. I really want to see/try the lobby and all the new features from the last 5-7 years. It's not easy to figure out the latest releases; maybe my experience will be useful to someone, as studying all the sources for the latest information about the releases revealed a lack of it. When installing HotA 1.5.3, HD 5.0 beta 43 is installed as part of the package, but with the update option enabled, it detects a new version of HD 5.0 beta 46 with a "delicious" description of the changes in the lobby in the launcher. But attempts at automatic installation led to numerous failures, errors, and other "joys" (I can describe them if necessary). At the same time, it refuses to connect to the lobby with a message that the latest version of HD 5.0 beta 46 is required. I also couldn't install it manually at first, because the first link https://sites.google.com/site/heroes3hd/eng/download downloads version HD 5.0 beta 43, while the header of the page says HD 5.0 beta 46. Fortunately, the second link to the mirror contains HD 5.0 beta 46, and I installed it, and now I'm finally going to try all this.

Suggestions:
- an installation guide with a list of files - what they are for, in what order to install and run them, and what goes with what.
- version numbering in the names of the installers.

And a question: is there no activity in the community, or is there some other resource where all the up-to-date information is gathered? Am I really the first one trying to play with version HD 5.0 beta 46?
