The dragon is silent and doesn't react in any way; it's just looking east. Arita herself doesn't see anything other than a rather pretty landscape.

Arita decided to tell the dragon a little about herself, about her sorrow (which she was telling for the first time, not counting what her mentor knew), and also about how, thanks to the journey to the Gardens of Ikigai, the girl found herself, regained what she had lost, and felt better.
